Voice
As we increase physical awareness, we release the true qualities of the voice, whether we are speaking or singing.
“Incredibly uplifting for body and soul.”

Tuition: Singing / Songwriting
I’ve been teaching singers, ‘non-singers’, performers and public speakers since 1990. Through a physical approach that ‘starts where you are’, I’ll help you discover, recover and develop your voice, whatever your starting point.
I am currently teaching live sessions and can also work online. Each session is tailored to suit the needs of the individual.
I also work with songwriters to develop their craft. My songs, for choirs have been published by Faber, Sing Up, A&C Black and Banks Music Publications.
I also lead group songwriting projects.
Current Project: Life Class
As Chorus Director for this wonderful project, I’m working with singers in Bradford to create and support the 34-strong Chorus.
This is a new piece, staged as part of Bradford 2025 City of Culture, exploring themes of ageing, the body and our perceptions of getting older. It’s a funny, moving and powerful piece of theatre.
We take to the stage in early October! Booking details above.
Details coming soon of a community choral project I’m offering in York this coming October….
Voicefulness explores a mindful approach to the voice and celebrates our individual and collective singing voices.
The project will comprise five weekly workshops and two performance opportunities.
